The GB Paralympic Archery Team will be using Forest Grounds as part of their preparation for the Games in Rio between 9.00am and 6.00pm for most days between 19th and 26th July 2016. Their  journey from Lilleshall to Meriden will mimic the travelling they will do in Rio as will the timing of the training sessions. In addition there will be a couple of days with mock medal ceremonies that will mean they will finish around 7.00pm.

A total of 6 targets will be used on Day 1 and thereafter 2 targets will be used. The safety area will be moved a little nearer to the judges’ hut which will allow for a bigger practise field for both the Paralympic Team and Club Members. The shooting line will also be moved to the tournament line so the whole field will need to use this line.

The Paralympians will be using one side of the clubhouse as a rest area, but none of their kit will be left there.

A full programme for these sessions will be displayed in the clubhouse as soon it as been confirmed. There will also be a request for some volunteers to act as training partners and further information on this will be posted in the clubhouse for any members who may be interested in taking part.
