I’d just like to take this opportunity to invite you all to Meriden TRAD NIGHT! It will run for 6 weeks, starting Thursday 6th September at 8:45pm in the Paddock.
We all know you have that dusty little traditional bow lurking at the back of the wardrobe, the one you bought because you thought it would be a bit of fun. Well now is your chance!
TRAD NIGHT will be run over six weeks (after the Beginners’ Course). We’ll be shooting an American NFAA 300 round, very similar to our Worcester Round (12 ends of 5 arrows, 5 zone scoring). There’s no need to attend every week, but a minimum of 3 scores is needed to be included in the final results.
We’ll be stopping half way for bacon sandwiches and tea. Feel free to bring additional snacks!
It’ll be a great way of having some fun with traditional archery and enjoying some club sprit!
If you are interested but don’t have a traditional bow, let me know and we might be able to find something for you!
Beards are not mandatory, but a sense of humour is recommended!
